Our Work

Education Vision

My father was right: "Education, education, and education is the only way out of this situation of poverty." The Hua Foundation believes education is fundamental to access economic equality. Our vision supports lasting change through education. Education helps marginal and ethnic minority children become self-reliant, compassionate, contributing community members.

Children In Care

We work to meet children’s basic needs for love, belonging, food, health, security, and clothing. We strive to eliminate the impact of loneliness and isolation that affect children’s emotional, social, and physical well-being. Our mission alleviates caregivers’ concerns of how to meet children’s daily nutritional and monthly educational needs, to dedicate themselves to children’s basic needs for love and belonging. Their caring interactions and guidance promote each child’s potential.

Disabled Children

We believe in the potential of each human being. Provided with a compassionate place to learn and grow, disabled children’s and young adults’ opportunities to develop life skills to help them cope, or overcome their disability, increase. The Hua Foundation supports those who respect and preserve the dignity of marginalized children and young adults.

Our Services

Secure Hope for Marginalized Children

Your donations secure hope for every child to reach his or her fullest potential to create a sustainable brighter future. Caregivers show incredible compassion for all children. Together, we support their work to make a positive and lasting impact upon children’s daily life and future.

Educate Children In Care

My Lam Orphanage’s, Dieu Phap Affection House’s and Kon Tum Orphanages’ children depend upon dedicated caregivers for food, shelter, and guidance. All orphanages’ limited resources impact their ability to educate all eligible school aged children. Dieu Phap depends upon public schools to formally educate its children. Public education costs $10.00 per orphan, per month. Your contributions remove educational barriers to promote marginal and ethnic minority children’s self-reliance for lasting success in their larger social communities.

Meet Children's Nutrition Needs

Vegetables and ingredients in traditional soup pots are grown and tended by marginal children, young adults, and caregivers at all orphanages. Every unused space of land is utilized by orphanages to grow vegetables, peanuts, and rice for its children. Children are taught their region's life skill of self-sustaining farming to meet nutritional needs. Most vegetables are limited due to seasonal planting. Some items must be purchased from local markets with donations. Your support ensures a pot of soup to fill every bowl, every meal, for every child. Every dollar makes a difference in the nutritional life of a growing child. Water resources are limited. Children and seasonal crops depend upon a secure water resource. Your donations help provision wells to provide clean, safe water for children and agriculture.
